I have a beautiful friend whose pet snails love to munch on strawberries. I felt so inspired by the idea of the cutest little snails making their way across a large juicy berry. It took me several hours to create a drawing, playing with the layout of all the snails and the size between them and the strawberry. Then I transferred the drawing to the linoleum block, carved out the negative space and was left with this wonderful creation.
